Safety starts before assignment

Driver phone, identity, profile photo, vehicle, registration, insurance, and local eligibility are reviewed before trips. Expiry tracking can remove eligibility until updated evidence is approved.

During a journey

  • Known driver and vehicle details, ordered trip states, rider confirmation, map context, traffic-aware ETA, and material route-deviation checks where enabled.
  • In-app chat and calling, notification timeouts, trip sharing, trusted-contact and escalation tools where available.
  • Driver duty-window warnings and assignment limits configured for local compliance.

Financial and account safety

Wallet holds, idempotent settlement, payout cooldowns, transaction velocity checks, device linkage, review queues, and immutable audit records reduce duplicate or suspicious money movement.

If something feels wrong

Use the in-app safety or support flow, move to a safe public place if possible, and contact local emergency services for immediate danger. Do not rely on KiloDrive as an emergency response service. Reports are access-restricted, investigated, retained only as needed, and escalated according to jurisdiction and severity.

Shared responsibility

Riders, senders, drivers, businesses, operators, and providers must act lawfully and respectfully. No technology can eliminate all risk; KiloDrive continuously reviews incidents, controls, and training.
