This Cookie Policy explains how KiloDrive uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies on its websites and web portals. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed by a website in a browser. Local storage keeps information on a device. Pixels, tags, and SDKs can record that a page, message, or feature was viewed or used. Some technologies are set by KiloDrive; others are set by a provider acting for KiloDrive or, where disclosed, as an independent controller.
2. Essential technologies
Essential technologies support security headers and anti-forgery protection, authentication and sessions, tenant and language routing, load balancing, consent choices, fraud prevention, accessibility, and requested functionality. They cannot normally be disabled through a consent tool because the requested website or portal would not work correctly. You can block them in the browser, but functionality may fail.
3. Preference technologies
Preference storage remembers language, appearance, accessibility, region, or similar choices. Where a preference is stored only on your device and is necessary to honor your request, it may operate without marketing consent as permitted by law.
4. Current public-site behavior
As of the effective date, ordinary public content pages do not load an optional analytics or advertising tag. The public site loads first-party navigation and presentation resources. Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded only on protected contact or calculator submissions when configured, and Google Maps is loaded only after a person requests a map-dependent toll or trip-share function. Those providers may receive ordinary network and device information needed to deliver the requested function under their own notices.
5. Dormant analytics and marketing integrations
The security policy contains destinations that can support Google Analytics or Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, or similar integrations, but an allow-listed destination is not evidence that its tag is active. KiloDrive will not describe a dormant provider as collecting data. Before a non-essential tag is activated, the responsible owner must document its purpose, data, host, duration, routes, countries, consent or opt-out requirement, provider notice, deletion method, and security review. Sensitive forms, passwords, one-time codes, private chat, payment credentials, identity documents, and precise trip content must not be sent to such tags.
6. Provider and consent controls
A tag cannot run merely because its host appears in Content Security Policy; the application must deliberately load it. Where law requires consent, non-essential code must remain blocked until the applicable choice is made. Declining optional technology must not prevent access to public legal information. System administrators can stage a security-policy change, but production activation requires validation, approval, a health probe, version history, and rollback.
7. Your choices
You may use the KiloDrive consent control where displayed, browser controls to delete or block cookies, device privacy settings, and provider opt-out tools. Blocking non-essential technology should not prevent access to public legal information. Choices may be browser- and device-specific and may need to be renewed after storage is cleared.
8. Retention
Session cookies expire when the session ends. Persistent preferences and consent records remain only for their configured period. Analytics and provider retention settings should use the shortest period reasonably necessary. KiloDrive may retain aggregated statistics that no longer identify a user.
9. Do Not Track and similar signals
Browser signals are handled as required by applicable law and supported technology. Because standards vary, a signal may not operate uniformly across all providers. A legally recognized opt-out preference signal will be respected where required.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when technologies or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected in the consent interface where required. Questions may be submitted through Contact Us.
